Shapes系列又来啦！Shapes的选曲一直以来我都非常欣赏。这系列，绝对是误导没有接触过TRU的新手，开始成为TRU fans的绝佳手段。

TruThoughts在各个方面都体现着他们的细心，签的乐队也总是男女搭配走着，出的唱片也是混搭着，想Shapes的CD1，主要是满足大众的低级趣味。CD2就主要给DJ使的，面面俱到，谁也不得罪，真奈斯！

狗腿到此为止，现在换耳朵，开始听吧……

Release Notes:

For the first time in the Tru Thoughts ‘Shapes’ compilation series, the upcoming ‘Shapes 08:02′ is a bumper double CD affair,featuring an amazing 27 tracks in total, with CD1 more geared towards the listening experience and CD2 aimed squarely at the DJs and clubbers. ‘Shapes 08:02′ covers an expansive selection of music from the brightest talent on the Tru Thoughts roster, and, as always, includes a handful of exclusive tracks and a host of killer remixes from the likes of Domu, Marc Mac (4Hero) and Lack Of Afro. This collection kicks off with Lizzy Parks’ “Prayer” (a song which could have been written for a Bond movie with its lush orchestrated strings and big brass section, and is taken from her forthcoming album ‘Raise The Roof’) and ends with Redeyes delivering a stomping Afro influenced drum’n'bass remix of “Wouri River” by Me&You. A great variety of music connects the sonic journey between them: the future sounds of Hint, Milez Benjiman and remixers Domu and Bassnectar nestle alongside the authentic flavour of New Orleans from Hot 8 Brass Band.

不知道该怎么说了。今年这么能咋呼的Bamboos，居然还能在年终岁尾造出一张这么牛掰的专辑。我一边儿听一边儿在玩命回忆。似乎真的是Bambbos最好的一张专辑了，而且在这张里，Kylie Auldist终于出世了。之前除了在各种合辑里，听到她的Community Service Announcement 焊 I Don’t Wanna Stop，就几乎没再听她张过嘴。今次，这上世纪中叶嗓子的爆发，有助于缓解Alice Russell阿姨的身心疲惫。

On their hotly anticipated third album, ‘Side Stepper’, Australian kings of funk The Bamboos take the beat-laden deep party funk of their previous LPs ‘Step It Up’ and ‘Rawville’ and push the boundaries of their sound with an injection of Northern soul and ’60s Mod soul style. An amazing selection of guest vocalists – Kylie Auldist, MC Ty, Megan Washington and Swedish soul sensation Paul MacInnes – add their own unique flavours to the brew. Earlier this year The Bamboos backed Kylie Auldist on ‘Just Say’, her debut solo album, which was hailed as one of the best albums of the year by Mark Lamarr.

Belleruche第一张专辑Turntable Soul Music最吸引我的，就是专辑里反复出现的Turntable。虽然不是Kid Koala那种把turntable当做纯音乐来用的主儿，但也足以成为当时的一大亮点，至少那会儿TRU的说学逗唱里也短这么一个会搓盘的。这就导致，现在在听The Express的时候，虽然卡瑟林德波尔的烟酒嗓还是分外妖娆，但少了Turntable的Belleruche，立刻会让两成人失望。

没办法，就是这么可悲，都是你们自己惯的。。。

真新鲜嘿，这张Quantic的专辑楞一直没听过。2004年在Magnetic Fields发的第一张，其实就是他自己的一厂牌。Quantic倒真是一甩手掌柜的，弄完了到现在统共加上他自己的这张Magnetic一共发出来4张还有仨都单曲。呒。。。Quantic横不能也是新鲜完完吧，一会儿一心气儿，就跟他曲儿的路子似的，之前还funk着呢，没几天奔Reggae，倒是差得不多，不过一般人也来不了这个，还是得说Quantic灵气有。操，近期对丫Quantic可真狗腿，丫Quantic也不是看得懂中文看不懂。

Unforscene是一哥儿俩的组合(Will 和 Benji Bower)，成立说是有十年了，不过好像哥儿俩都没干什么正经事儿。竟当制作人，去耍流氓了。但这几年，他们和Tru Thoughts这帮人倒一直都勾得挺紧的，像Alice Russell和J Todd伍的，像Alice Russell的Under the Munka Moon II都是他们给弄的。所以这次他们在Tru-Thoughts首发这张’Fingers And Thumbs’，这帮大拿肯定也不能装傻。

这张我角着，虽然有很Tru Thoughts的东西，但是其他好多我都挺喜欢的，听起来特有画面感，拿出去当原声绝对够使了。要说乐队灵不灵，还得再来几张，才知道是不是就光会耍流氓。
