(4th April) reigning mix of the year champ Ruckus Roboticus dons his yellow jersey to bring us a juicy slice of beat broadness with music from Wreckx-n-Effect, Blondie, Young MC, The Roots and more niceness! Check him out tonight joining DJ Food and DK at the Solid steel night in Bristol. Wizard!! DK steps for the next section with a tribute to DJ Froggy (RIP) a pioneer of DJ mixing in the UK. Following a visit to New York in the late 70′s he set up his own legendary soundsystem. We get a taste of his mastermixes (a precursor to Solid Steel with the use of spoken word) along with some re-edits and a Gwen Guthrie favourite. Respect.
